Getting started
How does it actually work?+
Three steps, and we do all of them. We train Nightshift on your website so it knows your business, we install a small friendly chat on your site, and from then on it answers your visitors, captures their details, and tells you the moment someone's interested.
What do you need from me?+
Your website address and a few quick details we can't get from the site, like your booking link and how you'd like to be notified. That's it. We handle the rest.
How long until it's live?+
Usually a few days. We'll often show you a working demo on your own site first, and once you're happy we have it live shortly after.
Do I have to install anything?+
No. We install it for you. You don't touch a line of code or a single setting.
Will it work with my website?+
Almost certainly. Nightshift works on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, and custom-built sites, anywhere a small snippet can be added. If you're not sure, send us your link and we'll confirm.
How it works & quality
Isn't this just one of those annoying website chats?+
The generic ones are. Nightshift is trained only on your business, so it gives real answers about your services and prices. And when it doesn't know something, it takes the customer's details and passes it to you, instead of running them in circles.
What if it says something wrong?+
It only answers from your own website and the details you give us, so it doesn't make things up. We test it ourselves before it goes live, and it's built to capture the lead and say "we'll get back to you" rather than guess.

How much does it cost?+

Why is there a setup fee?+
It pays for the real work of building your assistant: reading your site, training it, testing it, and installing it for you. It means it's ready to start earning from day one rather than sitting half-finished.
Is it worth it if I don't get many after-hours visitors?+
Probably, and it's easy to check. A lot of enquiries land in the evening and on weekends, but Nightshift also catches the daytime ones you miss while you're on a job and can't get to the phone. One captured customer usually covers it for months.
What's the difference between Standard and Growth?+
Standard suits most local businesses. Growth is for busier businesses with more than one location or website, plus priority support. You can move between them anytime.
Trust & control
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. There's no lock-in contract. You pay month to month and can stop whenever you like. We'd rather earn your business by being useful.
Can I customise how it looks and sounds?+
Yes. We match the chat to your brand and set its greeting and tone for you. If you want changes later, just tell us and we'll update it.
Couldn't I just set up something myself?+
You could, but it would be generic and it would take your time to build and keep right. We make it specific to your business and run the whole thing for you, so it's one less thing on your plate.
